The Necromancy subclass' Grim Harvest Feat is also a good choice because it lets you regain hit points if you kill a creature - so it'll toughen up your delicate wizard, though you'll just have to be more careful where you cast. Without that, the area of effect abilities you need to make use of are basically dangerous to everyone. We've gone for Evocation here because of Sculpt Spells, one of the Baldur's Gate 3 Feats you can access that lets you cast magic around your allies so it only affects enemies.
